Spicy Vodka Sauce

1 tbsp. | Minced Garlic Clove |

48 oz. | San Marzano Tomato Sauce |
1 tsp. | Kosher Salt |
Step 1: Preheat convection oven to 475°F with a pizza stone.
Step 2: Remove pizza dough from freezer, cover tightly and slack in cooler prior to use.
Step 3: Remove pizza dough from cooler and place onto a clean work surface.
Step 4: Spread vodka sauce evenly over crust from edge to edge.
Step 5: Top vodka sauce with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Step 6: Place spicy Italian-Style sausage and cupping pepperoni on top of cheese evenly around entire pizza.
Step 7: Place prepared pizza directly onto the pizza stone inside the oven.
Step 8: Cook for approximately 8 – 10 minutes.
Step 9: Remove pizza from oven and place pizza onto a cutting board.
Step 10: Cut pizza into slices and top the entire pizza with red sweety drops and fresh picked oregano.
Step 11: Serve as needed.
Spicy Vodka Sauce
Step 1: In a large, heavy bottom cast iron pan, heat up the olive oil and saute the onions until translucent, about 10 minutes.
Step 2: Add the garlic and red pepper, allow to cook for approximately 1-2 minutes.
Step 3: Add in the vodka and allow to reduce, 2-3 minutes.
Step 4: Add in heavy cream and allow to reduce by 1/4th.
Step 5: Add in tomato sauce and salt, simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes.
Step 6: Remove from heat and place sauce into a blender.
Step 7: Blend on high until smooth.
Step 8: Remove from blender and use as needed.
