Fiery Arrabbiata Sausage and Peppers Pizza Recipe

Turn up the heat with this pizza featuring Hillshire Farm® Old World Specialties® Italian-Style Sausage with an arrabbiata pepper sauce, mozzarella cheese, tri-colored sweet cherry peppers and crispy garlic bits for that extra crunch.

Ingredients

AMOUNTMAIN INGREDIENTS
1 ea.16" Fresh 'N Ready Oven Rising Sheeted Pizza Dough
6 oz.Pizza Sauce (Commercially Available)
2 tsp.Red Pepper Flakes
8 oz.Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
10 oz.Hillshire Farm® Old World Specialties® Italian-Style Sausage, Large Chunk, 14 Pieces Per Ounce
5 oz.Tri-Colored Petite Sweet Cherry Peppers, Sliced
1 tbsp.Crsipy Fried Garlic Bits (Commercially Available)
Directions

Step 1: Preheat impinger oven to 475°F.

Step 2: Remove pizza dough from freezer, cover tightly and slack in cooler prior to use. 

Step 3: Remove pizza dough from cooler and place onto a clean work surface.

Step 4: Spread pizza sauce evenly over crust from edge to edge. 

Step 5: Sprinkle red pepper flakes on top of the pizza sauce covering the entire surface of the pizza. 

Step 6: Top pizza sauce with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Step 7: Place Italian-Style Sausage on top of cheese evenly spread around entire pizza.

Step 8: Top entire pizza with tri-colored cherry peppers.

Step 9: Place prepared pizza onto a pizza screen and place it into the impinger oven.

Step 10: Cook for approximately 6 minutes and 15 seconds.

Step 11: Remove from oven and place pizza onto a cutting board.

Step 12: Cut pizza into slices and sprinkle the entire pizza with crispy garlic bits.

Step 13: Serve as needed.
