Spicy Pimento Cheese Chicken Biscuit Recipe

Southern comfort with a spicy kick. A crispy, spicy chicken filet layered with melty jalapeno pimento cheese and a touch of sweet honey—all nestled in a warm, buttery Southern-style biscuit. A sweet-heat, cheesy-crunch combo that brings the flavor.

Honey Jalapeno Pimento Cheese

Yield – 12 OZ.

12 OZ.Spread, Cheese, Pimento, Prepared
2 TBSP.Jalapeno, Pickled, Diced
1 TBSP.Honey, Prepared
Directions

Step 1: Prepare honey jalapeno pimento cheese a day ahead, store in the refrigerator in a sealed container. 

Step 2: Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 3: Place the frozen spicy chicken filets onto a parchment lined sheet tray.

Step 4: Cook in convection oven for 10 - 12 minutes.

Step 5: Remove from the oven and hold in warmer until ready to build biscuit sandwich.

Step 6: Prepare biscuits according to manufactures’ instructions and hold in warmer until ready to build biscuit sandwich.

 

Sub Recipe Directions

Nashville Hot Apricot Honey Sauce

Step 1: Place all the ingredients into a mixing bowl.

Step 2: Mix all ingredients together until well combined.

Step 3: Remove from mixing bowl and use as needed.

Chef’s Note: Spicy pimento cheese spread can be made 1-5 days ahead of time.  Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator until needed.  Stir before use for easier application.

 

PLATING DIRECTIONS:

1. Split the southern style biscuit into two equal sized pieces and place onto a clean cutting board.

2. Spread 1.0 oz. of the honey jalapeno pimento cheese across the bottom portion of the biscuit.

3. Place the spicy chicken filet on top of the honey jalapeno pimento cheese.

4. Drizzle with honey and place the top portion of the southern style biscuit on to close.

5. Serve as needed.
