Gaucho Flatbread Recipe

An inspired shareable, this robust flatbread marries bold sliced steak with fresh cherry tomatoes, red onion, arugula, and shaved Parmesan cheese to deliver a gourmet experience that's perfect as an appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients

4 oz.The Original Steak-EZE® BreakAway® Beef Steak, Lightly Marinated, 4 oz
1 Ea. 8 Oz. flatbread
3 Tbsp.Olive Oil
To Desire Kosher Salt and Black Pepper
1 Tsp.Oregano
1 Ea.Red Onion, thinly sliced
1 CupCherry Tomatoes
1 Cup Arugula
2 Tbsp.Fresh Lemon JuiceBoston Bibb Lettuce
1/2 CupParmesan, grated

 

Directions

Step 1: Heat the oven to 450 degrees.

Step 2: Melt one tablespoon of olive oil in a medium pan over medium-high heat.

Step 3: Add the beef, searing each side for about a minute then breaking it apart with a spatula or wooden spoon until fully cooked.

Step 4: Season with salt, pepper, and oregano.

Step 5: Place the flatbread on a lightly oiled baking sheet and top with the remaining oil.

Step 6: Add the beef, red onion, and cherry tomatoes and cook for 10 to 12 minutes.

Step 7: Sprinkle the flatbread with arugula, a squeeze of lemon and Parmesan and serve immediately.
