Pimento Cheese Steak Burger
Flamegrilled steak burger topped with made-from-scratch pimento cheese and served on a whole grain bun with lettuce and tomato.
Pimento Cheese Steak Burger

Pimento Cheese Steak Burger
10 buns
Whole Grain Bun, 2 oz.
10 leaves
Green Leaf Lettuce
approx. 3/4 lb.
Tomatoes, sliced
10 oz.
Pimentos, canned - drained
20 oz. (1 ¼ lbs.)
Shredded Cheddar Cheese, low sodium
5oz
Mayonnaise, light
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine Mayonnaise, Shredded Cheese and Pimentos. Store in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
- Place Burgers in single layer on sprayed sheet pan and cook at 350°F for 11-12 minutes – to an internal temperature of 145°. Hold in warmer until ready to build burgers.
To Build Burger:
- Open WG Bun and place 1 leaf of Lettuce on bottom bun
- Place 2 slices of Tomatoes on top of Lettuce
- Place Burger on top of Lettuce
- Using a #16 scoop (2 oz.) on top of Burger
- Place top Bun over the burger and serve
