Pepperoni Pizza Burger Recipe

The Pub® Flame Grilled Beef Burger rests atop a bed of fresh basil with rich pizza sauce, melted mozzarella, and a sprinkle of zesty pizza seasoning. Crowned with crispy Hillshire Farm® Cupping Pepperoni and sealed between golden pizza dough buns, this handheld mashup delivers bold, cheesy, crispy flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

AMOUNTMAIN INGREDIENTS
2 ea.Pizza Dough, Bun Cut, Cooked
5 ea.Fresh Basil Leaf, Picked 
1 ea.The Pub® Flame Grilled Beef Burger, 6 oz.
1 oz.Pizza Sauce, Prepared 
1/4 tsp.Pizza Seasoning, Prepared 
1 ea.Mozzarella Cheese, Sliced
2 oz.Hillshire Farm® Cupping Pepperoni
Directions

Step 1: Bake pizza dough according to manufacturer's directions.

Step 2: Once baked, place one piece of prepared pizza dough onto a clean work surface.

Step 3: Place fresh basil leaves on top of the prepared piece of pizza dough.

Step 4: Place The Pub® Flame Grilled Beef Burger on top of fresh basil.

Step 5: Top burger with pizza sauce.

Step 6: Sprinkle pizza seasoning over pizza sauce.

Step 7: Top with mozzarella cheese.

Step 8: Place Hillshire Farm® Cupping Pepperoni pieces into a pre-heated deep fryer and fry until crispy.

Step 9: Remove from fryer and place fried pepperonis on top of the mozzarella cheese.

Step 10: Place the top portion of the prepared pizza dough on top to close.

Step 11: Serve as needed.

Alternate Directions:

The Pub® Burger Cooking Instructions:                                      
Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake frozen product for 10-15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Convection Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake frozen product for 6-13 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Flat Grill: Preheat flat grill (350°F) and heat 1-3 oz. products for 4-7 minutes and 4-6 oz. products for 8-15 minutes from a frozen state, turning frequently to avoid excessive browning.
