Birria Bao Sliders Recipe

Soft, steamed bao buns filled with tender birria beef made from Original Philly® Seasoned Sliced Beef, layered with pickled red onions and roasted jalapeño strips, then topped with fresh chopped onions and cilantro. Served alongside rich birria broth for dipping and lime wedges to add a bright, zesty finish.

1 tbsp.Yellow Onion, Minced
1 tbsp.Fresh Cilantro, Chopped

32 oz.Pho Beef Broth, Prepared (Commercially Available)
1.3 oz.Birria Seasoning, Prepared (Commercially Available)
2.5 lbs.Original Philly® Fully Cooked Seasoned Sliced Beef 4/2.5 LB
Directions

Step 1: Place steamed bao buns onto a clean work surface.

Step 2: Fill each bao bun with approximately one ounce of birria beef.

Step 3: Top birria beef with pickled red onion and roasted jalapeño strips.

Step 4: Place built pho birria bao buns onto a serving plate.

Step 5: Top bao buns with chopped onions and cilantro.

Step 6: Place a ramekin filled with reserved birria broth onto the serving plate.

Step 7: Place lime wedges onto the plate and serve as needed.

Sub-Recipe Directions

Pho Birria with Broth

Step 1: Place pho beef broth into a stainless steel pot.

Step 2: Place pot onto a burner and bring to a boil.

Step 3: Add in birria seasoning and sliced beef.

Step 4: Reduce heat and allow to simmer for up to 30 minutes.

Step 5: Use birria beef as needed.

Step 6: Reserve pho beef broth for dipping.
