Chicken Gyro Board Recipe

This recipe is so Greek and with so much flavor. Tyson Red Label® Grilled Chicken Breast Strips are seasoned with minced garlic and warm spices, then place on a charcuterie board and paired with a variety of fresh vegetables and soft pita bread so guests can build their own.

Fried Halloumi Cheese

SERVING SIZE: 2 Ea.

AMOUNTMAIN INGREDIENTS
2 TbspOil, Olive
2 Ea.Cheese, Halloumi, Block
½ tsp.Salt, Kosher

 

Directions

Step 1: Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Place Tyson Red Label® Grilled Chicken Breast Strips onto a parchment lined sheet pan.

Step 3: Cook for approximately 14-17 minutes and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.

Step 4: Remove from oven and hold.

Step 5: Reserve

To assemble:

Step 1: Place a serving board onto a clean worksurface.

Step 2: Starting at the top, middle of the serving board, place the Greek olives served in a ramekin.

Step 3: Going clockwise, place pickled red onions next to the Greek olives.

Step 4: Place the Place the fried Halloumi cheese blocks next to the pickled red onions.

Step 5: Place the Tyson Red Label® Grilled Chicken Breast Strips next to the fried Halloumi cheese blocks and season with paprika.

Step 6: Place the cucumber, lemon slices and red cabbage next to the Tyson Red Label® Grilled Chicken Breast Strips.

Step 7: Place the pita bread between the cabbage and Greek olives.

Step 8: Garnish the board with pepperoncini’s, radish, and parsley.

Step 9: Place hummus into a ramekin and garnish it with olive oil and dill.

Step 10: Serve as needed with seasoned French fries on the side.

Fried Halloumi Cheese

Step 1: Pre-heat a flat-top grill to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Place oil onto flat-top grill.

Step 3: Place halloumi cheese blocks onto flat-top grill and sear on each side.

Step 4: Remove from flat-top grill and season with salt.

Step 5: Serve as needed.
