Sausage & Seafood Boil Platter Recipe

Elevate your menu with an American coastline regional seafood boil featuring Black Oak® Smoked Sausage Made with Turkey, Pork, and Beef with garlic, onion, lemon, seafood boil seasoning, corn on the cob, baby red potatoes, crab leg clusters, shrimp and fresh chopped parsley.

Step 1:  In a large stock pot, bring water, wine, garlic, onions, lemons, seafood boil seasoning and thyme to a boil.

Step 2: Lower heat to medium and add corn, baby red potatoes, Black Oak® Smoked Sausage and butter.

Step 3: Allow to cook for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 4: Add crab and shrimp and cook an additional 5 to 8 minutes or until shrimp and crab are fully cooked.

Step 5: Toss everything gently to cover in cooking liquid.

Step 6: Season with a little seafood boil seasoning as needed.

Step 7: Place onto a large platter with handles lined with butcher paper.

Step 8: Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.

Step 9: Serve as needed.

ALTERNATIVE COOKING METHODS – Black Oak® Smoked Sausage Made With Turkey, Pork, and Beef

Bake: Conventional Oven Heat oven to 375°F. Place sausage in pan; add 1/4" water to pan. Cover with foil. Heat 15-18 minutes until sausage reached internal temperature of 165°.

Grill: Roller Grill Preheat Roller Grill on high for 15 minutes. Turn to medium heat. Heat 14-16 minutes until sausage reaches internal temperature of 165°F. Turn roller grill down to low/hold setting. Hold product at 140°F or higher for up to 4 hours.
