1 cup Butter, unsalted and softened to room temperature
1/3 cup Honey
½ teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Black pepper, freshly ground and course
Directions
  1. Make the Cracked Black Pepper Honey Butter: In a large bowl, using a hand-held mixer or stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the butter for 1 minute on medium speed until completely smooth and creamy. Beat in the remaining ingredients, starting with the salt. Beat on medium speed until completely smooth. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula as needed. It can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
  2. Make the Lemon Vinaigrette: In a bowl, whisk the lemon zest, lemon juice, honey, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper thoroughly until completely blended. Then, add the olive oil while whisking. It can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Shake or mix well before each use.

  5. Grill or toast the sourdough bread slices. Spread 2 teaspoons of the cracked black pepper honey butter on each slice of bread.
  6. Fry the egg in a pan.
  7. Assemble the sandwich: On one slice of bread, add the dressed grape tomato halves, spinach, sausage patties, fried egg, bacon slices and smoked Gouda cheese. Top with the other slice of bread and serve warm.
