Lebanese Flatbread Recipe

Enjoy this simple-to-make Middle Eastern delicacy featuring Fully Cooked Steak-EZE® Redi-Steak® Sirloin Beef. Spread Naan bread evenly with hummus and add seasoned and roasted red peppers, eggplant, and red onions along with the beef. Top with goat cheese crumbles, chopped parsley and pomegranate molasses.

Ingredients

SERVES: 1 Flatbread

4 oz.

Eggplant, diced ½ inch

2 oz.

Red Onions, slices

2 tsp.

Olive Oil

½ tsp.

Salt

¼ tsp.

Pepper

2 each

Naan Flatbread

4 oz.

Hummus (commercially prepared)

8 oz.

Steak-EZE® Redi-Steak® Sirloin Beef Fully Cooked

6 oz.

Goat Cheese, crumbled

2 Tbsp.

Parsley, fresh chopped

2 tsp.

Pomegranate Molasses

Directions

Step 1:  Preheat an oven to 400°F.

Step 2:  Toss the red peppers, eggplant and red onions in the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Step 3:  Spread the seasoned vegetables on a lined sheet pan and roast them in the oven for 15 minutes.

Step 4:  Evenly spread the hummus onto two naan breads.

Step 5:  Top each with half of the steak, roasted vegetables and goat cheese crumbles.

Step 6:  Bake the assembled flatbreads on a sheet pan in the 400°F oven for 10 minutes.

Step 7:  Top with chopped parsley and pomegranate molasses.
