Crispy Chicken Breakfast Tacos Recipe

Colorful and crispy with just the right amount of heat. Flavorful, juicy Tyson® Mini Chicken Bites served on a warm, soft corn tortilla and topped with scrambled eggs, spicy salsa verde, fresh pico de gallo and aged cotija cheese. Garnish with fresh cilantro.

Soft Corn Tortilla

2 oz.

Liquid Egg

1 oz.

Salsa Verde, Prepared

1 oz.

Pico de Gallo, Prepared

Cotija, Crumbled

Cilantro Sprigs (*2-3 leaves with stem)

Directions

Directions for Prep (Step-by-Step):

Step 1: Cook Tyson® Mini Chicken Bites in 350ºF fryer for 60-90 seconds or until internal temperature reaches 160ºF. Hold hot for service.

Step 2: Cook the eggs in a non-stick pan over medium heat, stirring occasionally until they are cooked through and scrambled soft. Hold hot for service. 

Directions for Build (Step-by-Step):

Split ingredients evenly across three tacos.

Step 1: Place 1 oz. of scrambled eggs in the bottom of each tortilla.

Step 2: Top eggs with 1 Tbsp. Salsa Verde per taco.

Step 3: Top with 2 oz. Tyson® Mini Chicken Bites per tortilla.

Step 4: Garnish each taco with 1 Tbsp. Pico de Gallo, 1 tsp. Cotija cheese, and a cilantro sprig.

Step 5: Serve hot.
