Natural casing CheddarWurst® on a bed of caramelized onions with apple and bacon chutney.

Directions

Step 1

In a medium sauce pot over medium heat add reserved bacon fat. Add apples and sauté until golden brown, then drain excess fat from pot.

Step 2

Add apple cider vinegar to deglaze the pan and then add brown sugar & bacon. Cook until mixture thickens and season with salt & pepper.

Step 3

In a large sauté pan, add caramelized onions and heat through. Add the roasted natural casing CheddarWurst® sausages to the pan and garnish with the Apple-Bacon Chutney.
