Smoked sausage roasted and glazed with brown sugar-whole grain mustard sauce alongside pretzels and whole grain mustard dipping sauce.
In a small sauce pot over medium heat add brown sugar and stout. Stir to mix and bring to a boil or until sugar is fully dissolved.
Remove sauce pot from heat, allow to cool slightly and then stir in Whole Grain and Dijon Mustards.
In a preheated, 350° convection oven, roast sausage until light golden brown and brush or spoon on glaze.
Roast in oven, glazing 2-3 times before removing from oven. Remove from oven and let rest for 1 minute before carving.
Serve remaining glaze mixed with the reserved 1 ½ oz mustard and serve alongside pretzels as a sauce for dipping.
