BBQ Chicken Sandwich Recipe

Put your signature spin on another chicken sandwich staple: BBQ! Place our Tyson Red Label® Uncooked Breaded Authentically Crispy Original Chicken Breast Filets, 5.2 oz on an onion roll, topped with melty provolone, pickle slices, your customers’ favorite BBQ sauce, pickled onions and a bit of mayo. Bring it all home with a side of onion rings.

Tyson Red Label® Uncooked Breaded Authentically Crispy Original Chicken Breast Filets, 5.2 oz 

1 ea.

Onion roll

1 slice

Provolone slice

1.5 oz.

BBQ sauce, commercially prepared

5 pc.

Pickles, sliced

1 oz.

Pickled onions, commercially prepared

¼ oz.

Mayonnaise, commercially prepared

Optional side

Onion rings, prepared

Tyson Red Label® Uncooked Breaded Authentically Crispy Spicy Chicken Breast Filets, 5.2 oz.

Directions

STEP 1: To prepare Tyson Red Label® Uncooked Breaded Authentically Crispy Original Chicken Breast Filets, 5.2 oz, preheat cooking oil to 350°F. From frozen, place filet in fryer basket, submerge in oil, and shake basket. Cook the product for 7.5 minutes until product reaches at least 165°F internal temperature. Remove from oil and set aside.

Step 2: Slice onion roll in half and toast inner side of each piece on warm griddle. Remove from heat and spread mayonnaise on inside of top half.

Step 3: To plate: place bottom half of onion roll on service plate and layer with provolone, BBQ sauce, pickles and Tyson Red Label® Uncooked Breaded Authentically Crispy Original Chicken Breast Filets, 5.2 oz. Complete sandwich with pickled onion and top half of onion roll. Pair with onion rings or other side of choice. Serve immediately.
