Applewood Bacon and Maple Bagel Recipe

A stack of crispy Wright® Brand Naturally Applewood Smoked Bacon layered with a perfectly fried egg, sharp white cheddar and rich black currant cream cheese. Served on a maple apple cinnamon bagel for a sweet-savory breakfast with warm spice, smoky depth and indulgence in every bite.

2 Oz.Black Currant Cream Cheese Schmear (Sub Recipe)
6 Ea.Wright® Brand Naturally Applewood Smoked Regular Sliced Flat-Pack® Bacon 14/18
1 Ea.White Cheddar Cheese, Sliced
1 Ea.Fried Egg, Salt & Pepper

Black Currant Cream Cheese Schmear

YIELD: 12 Oz.

AMOUNTSUB-RECIPE INGREDIENTS
8 Oz.Cream Cheese, Softened
3 Oz.Black Currant Jam, Prepared
Directions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F.

Step 2: Place Wright® Brand Naturally Applewood Smoked Bacon onto a parchment lined sheet tray.

Step 3: Place into oven for approximately 10 minutes and remove from oven.

Step 4: Place the split toasted maple apple cinnamon bagel onto a clean work surface.

Step 5: Spread the black currant cream cheese schmear across the bottom portion of the bagel.

Step 6: Place the bacon slices on top of the schmear.

Step 7: Top with white cheddar cheese and a fried egg.

Step 8: Place the top portion of the bagel on top to close and serve as needed.

Step 1: Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl.

Step 2: Using a wire whisk, whip all ingredients together until smooth.

Step 3: Remove from mixing bowl and serve as needed.
