Spicy Sicilian Pizza
Spicy Sicilian Pizza with hand tossed dough, red marinara sauce, spicy Italian sausage, red bell pepper rings, jalapeno pepper rings, and sprinkled with crushed red chili flakes.
Ingredients
SERVES: 6-8 SLICES
| 1 ea. | Round Hand tossed Double Dough |
| 3 oz. | Hillshire Farm® All Natural* Spicy Italian Sausage |
| 6 oz. | Red Marinara Sauce |
| 2 oz. | Red Bell Pepper, cut into rings |
| 2 oz. | Jalapeno Pepper, cut into rings |
| 5 oz. | Whole Mozzarella Cheese, shredded |
| As garnish. | Crushed Red Chili Flakes |
| As needed. | Olive Oil |
Directions
- Cover pizza dough tightly and slack in cooler prior to use. Brush the crust with olive oil just prior to assembling the pizza.
- To assemble each pizza: Spread 6 ounces of marinara sauce evenly over crust. Top with 5 ounces of shredded mozzarella cheese, 3 ounces of Hillshire Farm® All Natural* Spicy Italian Sausage, 2 ounces jalapeno pepper rings, 2 ounces of red bell pepper rings.
- Bake in a pre-heated 450°F impinger oven for 4 mins and finish off with crushed red chili flakes and serve.
