Crispy Chicken Wonton Nachos Recipe

Crispy wontons filled with breaded chicken breast chunks coated in sweet Thai chili sauce, pickled cabbage slaw, bright banana pepper rings and fresh scallion.

4-8 ea.Tyson® Uncooked Chicken Breast Chunk Fritters
2 oz.Wontons Wrappers, Cut into Triangles
1 oz.Sweet Thai Chili Sauce, Prepared
1/4 cupAsian Pickled Cabbage Slaw (Sub-Recipe)
1 tbsp.Pickled Jalapeño Peppers, Diced
2 tbsp.Banana Pepper Rings, Prepared/Pickled
1/2 tsp.Fresh Scallion, Thinly Sliced

Asian Pickled Cabbage Slaw

YIELD: 6 Servings

AMOUNTSUB-RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 cupRed Cabbage, Shredded
1/2 cupCarrot, Julienned
2 oz.Rice Vinegar
2 tsp.Sugar
1 tsp.Salt
Directions

Step 1: Deep fry chicken from frozen at 350°F for 6 - 8 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from fryer a hold warm for service.

Step 2: Fry wonton triangles for 30-60 seconds, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from fryer and hold warm for service.

Step 3: In a medium mixing bowl, toss fried chicken in sauce until well coated. 

Step 4: On service plate, lay fried wontons in a single layer then top with sauced chicken breast chunks, pickled slaw, diced jalapeño, banana peppers, and scallion slices. Serve immediately.

Step 1: In a medium size mixing bowl, toss all ingredients together until well combined.

Step 2: Refrigerate covered to marinate over night before using.
