Detroit-Style Cupping Pepperoni Pizza Recipe

This Detroit-style pizza stirs the appetite with cheesy, crusty, deep-dish grandeur. It features a savory tomato sauce, Wisconsin brick cheese shreds and a gorgeous topping of Hillshire Farm® Cupping Pepperoni with edges that curl and crisp leaving the centers meaty and tender for a perfectly balanced bite. Build it in a rectangular pan for an extra dose of Detroit panache.

Ingredients

SERVES:  12 SLICES

AMOUNT MAIN INGREDIENTS
4oz.Hillshire Farm® Cupping Pepperoni, 20 slices per oz.
1 ea.Pizza Dough, Deep Dish, Square, 12”
As neededOlive Oil
4 oz. Red Marinara Sauce
2 oz. Wisconsin Brick Cheese, Shredded
Directions
Step 1 - Cover pizza dough tightly and slack in cooler prior to use. Brush the crust with olive oil just prior to assembling the pizza.
 

Step 2 - To assemble each pizza: Spread the marinara sauce evenly over crust. Top with shredded cheese and Hillshire Farm® Cupping Pepperoni.

Step 3 - Bake in a pre-heated 450°F impinger oven for 4 mins. or until edges of crust and rims of Hillshire Farm® Cupping Pepperoni are crispy; slice and serve immediately
