Spicy Greek Chicken Wrap Recipe

Greek seasoned Original Philly® Fully Cooked Sliced Chicken, served in toasted flatbread wrap over a spicy whipped feta spread (Tyrokafteri), topped with fresh crisp lettuce, Greek salad tossed in a homemade Greek Dressing.

1 1/2 Oz.Fresh Jalapeno Pepper - Drained & Roasted
6 Oz.Red Bell Pepper - Drained and Roasted
2 Ea.Fresh Whole Garlic Clove
1 Tbsp.Red Wine Vinegar - Prepared
1 Tbsp.Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1 Tbsp.Olive Oil
2 Tbsp.Fresh Leaf Parsley - Chopped
1/4 tsp.Kosher Salt

 

Greek Salad

YIELD: 6 Ounces

6 Oz.Red Onions - Peeled, Sliced & Julienned
8 Oz.Red Cherry Tomatoes - Halved
6 Oz.English Cucumber -  Sliced Half Moon
2 Oz.Greek Dressing  (Sub-Recipe)

 

Greek Dressing

YIELD: 6 Each

AmountMAIN INGREDIENTS
1 tsp.Fresh Garlic Clove - Minced
3 Tbsp.Red Wine Vinegar - Prepared
1 Tbsp.Fresh Lemon Juice - Squeezed
1/2 tsp.Dijon Mustard - Prepared
1 tsp.Dried Oregano
1/2 tsp.Kosher Salt
1/4 tsp.Black Ground Pepper
4 Oz.Olive Oil - Prepared

 

 

Directions

Step 1: Place warm flatbreads wrap onto a clean worksurface.

Step 2: Starting from the middle of the wrap, spread whipped spicy feta sauce over the middle of the flatbread wrap.

Step 3: Place romaine lettuce, Greek salad and olives over the top of the whipped spicy feta sauce.

Step 4: Top with Original Philly® Fully Cooked Sliced Chicken.

Step 5: Fold the sides of the flatbread wrap inwards over the filling.

Step 6: Roll the flatbread wrap over the filling, tucking as you roll.

Step 7: Continue rolling until your flatbread wrap is seam side down.

Step 8: Cut on a bias and serve as needed.

Step 1: Place all ingredients into a food processor.

Step 2: Process all ingredients till smooth.

Step 3: Remove from food processor.

Step 4: Serve as needed.

 

Greek Salad

Step 1: Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl.

Step 2: Gently toss to combine.

Step 3: Serve as needed.

 

Greek Dressing

Step 1: Place all ingredients except olive oil into a blender.

Step 2: Blend on high until all ingredients are combined.

Step 3: While blending add in olive oil to emulsify.

Step 4: Remove from blender.

Step 5: Serve as needed.

ALTERNATIVE COOKING METHODS – Original Philly® Fully Cooked Sliced Chicken 4/2.5 LB

Step 1: Pre-heat a steamer on medium heat or 220°F.

Step 2: Place in steamer thawed and cook until product reaches 165°F, approximately 15 to 25 minutes.

Step 3: Remove from steamer and reserve.

Step 4: Serve as needed.
