Korean Chicken Tacos Recipe

Crispy Tyson® Mini Chicken Bites meet tangy Asian slaw with two Mexican Original® Flour Tortillas drizzled with sweet soy ginger sauce and bold gochujang aioli. Finished with sesame seeds, green onions, and served with furikake dusted wonton chips — it’s a flavor-packed fusion in every bite.

1 oz.Sweet Soy Ginger Sauce (Commercially Available) 
1 oz.Gochujang Garlic Aioli Sauce (Sub-Recipe) 
1 tsp.Black and White Sesame Seeds, Mixed 
1 tsp.Fresh Green Onion, Sliced Thin 
4 ea.Fresh Limes Wedges, Sliced 
4 oz.Fried Wonton Chips, Prepared
1 tspFurikake Seasoning, Prepared

Asian Broccoli Slaw

10 oz.Warm Water
10 oz.Rice Vinegar, Prepared
1 1/4 tsp.White Sugar, Granulated
1/4 tspKosher Salt
1/4 tsp.Red Pepper Flakes
10 oz.Broccoli Slaw Mix, (prepared)
5 oz.Fresh English Cucumber, Julienned
5 oz.Fresh Jalapeno, Seeded, Julienned

Gochujang Garlic Aioli

YIELD: 8 OZ.

AMOUNTSUB-RECIPE INGREDIENTS
8 oz.Heavy Mayonnaise, Prepared
1 tbsp.Gochujang Paste, Prepared
1 tsp.Fresh Garlic Clove, Minced
1 tsp.Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
Directions

Step 1: Place two Mexican Original® 6-inch flour tortillas into a taco holder onto a clean work surface.

Step 2: Place Asian broccoli slaw into each of the tortillas.

Step 3: Top Asian broccoli slaw with Tyson® Mini Chicken Bites.

Step 4: Drizzle Tyson® Mini Chicken Bites with sweet ginger soy sauce and gochujang garlic aioli.

Step 5: Sprinkle each taco with mixed sesame seeds and green onions.

Step 6: Place tacos onto a serving dish and serve with fried wontons.

Step 7: Top wontons with furikake seasoning.

Step 8: Serve as needed.

Preparation: Cook from frozen: Appliances vary, adjust accordingly.     
Fryer: 90 seconds at 350ºF until internal temperature reaches 140ºF.
Convection oven: 5 minutes at 400ºF until internal temperature reaches 140ºF.
Convention oven: 6 minutes at 400ºF until internal temperature reaches 140ºF.
Microwave: 90 seconds until internal temperature reaches 140ºF.

Sub-Recipe Directions

Asian Broccoli Slaw

Step 1: Place warm water, rice vinegar, sugar, salt, and red pepper flakes into a mixing bowl.

Step 2: Using a wire whisk, mix all ingredients together.

Step 3: Add in the broccoli slaw mix, cucumbers and jalapenos and toss to combine.

Step 4: Remove slaw mix from mixing bowl and place into a clean container.

Step 5: Store under refrigeration and use as needed.

Gochujang Garlic Aioli

Step 1: Place all ingredients into a food processor.

Step 2: Process all ingredients until smooth.

Step 3: Remove from food processor and use as needed.
