Chorizo Sobrasada Caprese Recipe

A bold twist on the classic caprese featuring rich, flavorful Hillshire Farm® Pork Chorizo Crumbles paired with fresh mozzarella cheese pearls and roasted tomatoes. Finished with a balsamic glaze, this dish balances smoky, savory, and fresh elements in every bite.

1 ea.1/4" Square Sliced Baguette, Toasted
1 tbsp.Chorizo Sobrasada Spread (Sub-Recipe) 
1 ea.Ciliegine Mozzarella Cheese Pearls 
1 ea.Roasted Red Tomato Halves 
5 ea.White Balsamic Pearls, Prepared
1 ea.Micro Basil Leaf

Chorizo Sobrasada

YIELD: 16 OZ.

AMOUNTSUB-RECIPE INGREDIENTS
12 oz.Hillshire Farm® All Natural* Fully Cooked Pork Chorizo Crumbles
1 1/2 oz.Unsalted Butter, Room Temp
1/2 oz.Apple Cider Vinegar, Prepared
1 tsp.Hot Sauce, Prepared
1 1/2 oz.Water, Room Temp
1/2 tsp.Ground Guajillo Pepper 
1/2 tsp.Paprika Spice
1/4 tsp.Garlic, Granulated
1/2 tsp.Fresh Oregano, Chopped Fine
1/4 tsp.Kosher Salt
Directions

Step 1: Place the toasted baguette slice onto a clean work surface.

Step 2: Spread chorizo sobrasada across the toasted baguette slice.   

Step 3: Top with roasted tomato halves, mozzarella Ciliegine pearls, balsamic pearls, and micro basil.

Step 4: Place onto serving plate.

Step 5: Repeat recipe as needed.

Step 1: Place all ingredients into a food processor.

Step 2: Process all ingredients to well combined and smooth.

Step 3: Remove from food processor and use as needed.
