Chicken Shawarma Pizza Recipe

Featuring Original Philly® Fully Cooked Cook-In-Bag Sliced Chicken, with Shawarma seasoning, Garlic cream sauce, mozzarella cheese, fresh diced tomato, red onion, finished with fresh parsley and Lebanese pink pickles.

4 Oz.Sauce, Garlic, Cream (commercially available)
2 tsp.Seasoning, Shawarma (commercially available)
6 Oz.Cheese, Mozzarella, Blend, Shredded
2 Oz.Cheese, Feta, Crumbled (Optional)
7 Oz.Original Philly® Fully Cooked Cook-In-Bag Sliced Chicken 
3 Oz.Tomato, Roma, Diced, ¼ inch
2 Oz.Onion, Red, Peeled, Sliced, Thin
2 tsp.Parsley, Fresh, Chopped
3 Oz.Pickles, Lebanese (Sub Recipe)

Lebanese Pickles

SERVING SIZE: 4 Servings

AMOUNTINGREDIENTS
10 OzRoot, Turnips, Peeled, Julienned
6 OzBeets, Red, Cooked, Julienned
1 tsp.Garlic, Clove, Peeled, Minced
2 CupsWater, Warm
2/3 CupVinegar, White, Distilled
2 TbspSalt, Kosher

 

Directions

Step 1: Place pizza crust onto a clean work surface.

Step 2: Drop two or three scoops of pizza sauce directly onto the center of the crust. 

Step 3: Using the back of the ladle/spoon, spread the sauce in a circular motion, starting from the center and working your way outwards.

Step 4: Sprinkle with shawarma seasoning.

Step 5: Sprinkle cheeses over the entire pizza.

Step 6: Build the pizza by adding the ingredients in the order listed.

Step 7: Bake it according to your preference.

Step 8: Cut the pizza for service and garnish with parsley and Lebanese pickles.

Sub Recipe Directions

Lebanese Pickles

Step 1: Place turnips and beets into a mixing bowl.

Step 2: Pour the liquid over the veggies and allow to marinate overnight.

Step 3: Serve as needed.

Pizza Oven Temp:

Belt speed – 725 / Temp – 425 Degrees F.
