Meet Our 2026 Great Pizza Give Back Grand Prize Winner

Kira and Mark Zabrowski are giving back in dramatic fashion.
For the fifth year in a row, Hillshire Farm® brand is pleased to reward pizza operators who do good in their communities through our annual Great Pizza Give Back program. As a thank you to pizzerias for making a positive impact, Hillshire Farm® brand rewards one Grand Prize Winner with $15,000, while 10 additional winners receive $2,000 each.
This year’s Grand Prize Winner, Much Ado About Pizza, supports their community through a variety of efforts, including:
- Shakespeare Shares: An initiative and awareness effort the pizzeria hosts twice a year to raise money for local charities by matching funds to patron donations
- City Serve: Delivering pizzas for the collaborative network’s Souper Tuesdays events
- Goodness Village: Donating pizzas for the tiny-home community’s Pizza Across America Days and raising funds to help these formerly unhoused residents thrive
- Open Heart Kitchen: Providing monthly pizza donations and fundraisers for community residents experiencing hunger
Founded by owners Kira and Mark Zabrowski, Much Ado About Pizza is a previous Great Pizza Give Back runner-up. Their ongoing commitment to deepen their impact to the community in Pleasanton, California is a key reason Hillshire Farm® brand is proud to honor their efforts as our 2026 Grand Prize recipients.
Before opening their carry-out operation, Kira and Mark actively supported local food banks, donated meals and helped neighbors in need. So, when their vision of Much Ado About Pizza became a reality in 2022, they put a plan in place to inspire, connect and make a real difference.

Kira and Mark’s passion to serving their community is matched only by their commitment to making every pizza order memorable. This is evident every day through the operation’s standout naturally fermented sourdough crust, Shakespearean theme, inspiring menu offerings (including the meat-lovers’ Montague and the vegetarian Capulet) and whimsical décor.
With the $15,000 prize money, the team will expand their impact in the community and their shop.
They plan to provide additional meals and support to CityServe, Goodness Village, Open Heart Kitchen and local community theater programs. They also plan on making improvements to their carry-out shop, including upgraded equipment and enhancements to their theatrical décor, that will allow them to serve more people efficiently while keeping every experience playful, memorable and welcoming.

Past Grand Prize Winners
The spirit of giving is bold and bountiful at Wild West Pizza. Working with local police, their “Positive Ticketing” program rewards good deeds with “positive citations” redeemable for free pizzas. Their “Be Nice For a Slice” anti-bullying initiative equips local teachers with free pizza certificates to hand out to students spotted doing something nice for others. They honor first responders each year on 9/11 by donating dinner to all local firehouses and the nearby military base. Wild West Pizza, we salute you for all the good you do.
MVP Pizza is a hometown operation that has a whole lot of heart, rooted in four generations of family and community. Beyond donating to the local church, schools and organizations, such as Reaching Our Hulbert Community, their generosity extends to other small Cherokee County schools and businesses. They’ve also hosted Movies in the Park, the Christmas Parade and many more events to promote togetherness and harmony in the community. Congratulations, MVP Pizza!
Sponsoring youth athletics, supporting student-focused activities and participating in countless volunteer efforts is just scratching the surface of all that Dayton’s does for their community. By donating pizza to local runaway shelters, groups committed to fighting addiction and inner-city schools, they make so much possible, for so many people. Built on the belief that their job is to make people happy every day, through food and generosity, Dayton’s is certainly delivering. Congratulations.
Nelly’s gives back to many causes that benefit humans and hounds. They team up with the local animal shelter and place flyers of adoptable dogs on every pizza box. This gives the dogs more exposure so they can find new homes. Nelly’s also sponsors a multitude of groups, such as little league teams, cheer squads and football and basketball teams.
