Cheesesteak Sliders Recipe

An appetizer extraordinaire—sliders with delicious sliced steak stepping in for baby burgers. Diced and sautéed onions/peppers with melted white American cheese bring out the "plavor" in these mini masterpieces.

MAIN INGREDIENTS

8 oz.Original Philly® Beef Sandwich Slices 8 oz.
1 TbspOlive Oil
 Kosher salt and black pepper
6slices American cheese
1yellow onion, diced
1green pepper, diced
12slider rolls
Directions

Step 1 - Heat oven to 350. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the steak, about one minute per side, then shred and set aside.

Step 2 - In the same skillet, heat olive oil over medium and saute the pepper and onion with a sprinkle of salt and pepper until tender.

Step 3 - While the peppers and onions are cooking, separate the bottoms and tops from the slider rolls.

Step 4 - Transfer bottom halves to a 9x13 inch baking dish and spread mayo evenly across them.

Step 5 - Add steak, onions and peppers then layer american cheese slices and place the top halves over the rolls and cover with tin foil.

Step 6 - Bake for 10 minutes then remove foil and cook for another 10 until the cheese has fully melted.
