The Umami

Deep, rich complex Umami-based flavors from the juicy, peppery smoked sausage. Paired with a blend of caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms and bacon.

Directions

Step 1

Toast bun on flat top grill until edges start to turn a golden brown.

 

Step 2

Grill smoked sausage and reserve.

 

Step 3

In a medium sauté pan, cook bacon, then add butter, mushrooms, and onions. Deglaze pan with soy sauce and lightly season. Add fresh thyme leaves.

 

Step 4

Place grilled link in toasted bun and top with onion-mushroom-bacon mix.

 

Step 5

Garnish with a small amount of scallions.
