On March 4-7, the Las Vegas Convention Center was buzzing with operators eager to learn about the latest pizza trends and product solutions to incorporate into their menus at the 35th Annual International Pizza Expo. With more than 7,300 attendees, Pizza Expo is the largest gathering of pizza operators in the world. In addition to visiting exhibitor booths, operators can attend numerous workshops featuring top industry leaders and even showcase their pizza making skills in the International Pizza Challenge™ Competition and the World Pizza Games.
The Tyson Foodservice booth was filled with the scent of freshly baked samples featuring our latest flavor-forward product innovations including Bonici® Mesquite Pepperoni, Bonici® Bakin’ Bacon™ Heat-n-Serve Pizza Topping, Bonici® Pinch Perfect™ Crumbles and new impinger-ready wings. Chef Gary Corbin, one of the masterminds behind our sample recipes, said fan favorite recipes from the booth were the Steak Carbonara Pizza, Korean BBQ Chicken Pizza, Tyson Red Label® Applewood Smoked Wings and the British Bacon and Potato Pizza.

This year, one of the biggest takeaways we heard from operators is their desire to incorporate toppings that feature an authentic, made in-house look to their menus rather than sticking to toppings that provide a consistent look to the finished dish.
