Buffalo & Blue Sandwich with Plant Based Filets

Chicken smothered in hot sauce and blue cheese is a winning combination. With Tyson® Plant Based Filets, this recipe gets a more crave-y edge. Tyson® Plant Based Filets are deep fried and then tossed in a spicy Buffalo wing sauce and placed on a bun slathered in a flavorful blue cheese aioli.


Serving Amount – 4 servings



4 ea.Tyson® Plant Based Filets
½ cupBlue Cheese, Crumbled
1 cupMayonnaise
As neededSalt and Pepper, to taste
½ cupPrepared Buffalo Wing Sauce
4 ea.Burger Buns, Split
4 SlicesProvolone Cheese
1 CupColeslaw Vegetable Mix

Step 1 - To prepare Tyson® Plant Based Filets, preheat cooking oil to 350°F. From frozen, place filets in a fryer basket, submerge in oil and shake basket. Cook the product for 3.5 minutes until product reaches at least 140°F internal temperature. Remove from oil and set aside.

Step 2 - To make blue cheese aioli, place crumbled blue cheese, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper in a food processor. Pulse for 10-15 seconds or until thoroughly combined. Remove from processor and set aside.  

Step 3 - Toss cooked filets in Buffalo wing sauce until fully coated; set aside.

Step 4 - Spread blue cheese aioli onto the cut side of each bun. Stack with provolone slice, coleslaw vegetables and sauced filet. Serve immediately.
