Sweet and Spicy Bahn Mi Veggie Burger Recipe

Sweet teriyaki glazed veggie pattie served on a whole grain bun with crisp cucumber and a pickled Asian slaw.

1 ea.10 ea.AdvancePierre™ Vegetarían Pattie w. Teriyaki Sauce
1 ea.10 ea.Bun, Whole Wheat
1 oz.10 oz.Cucumber, sliced

Pickled Vegetables
 
 16 ozCarrot, shredded
 4 ozRed Onion, julienne 
 2/3 cuApple Cider Vinegar
 1 cuWater
 1/3 cuSugar

*optional garnish
 
1 tsp Cilantro
1 tsp Mint
Directions

Step 1 - Pre heat oven to 350°F. Bake veggie patties in a single layer on a sheet tray for 3-5 minutes. Hold hot for hot service.

Step 2 - Over medium heat. Bring water, vinegar, and sugar to boil in a pot. Pour over carrot and onion. Chill and hold cold for cold service.

To Build Bowl:

  1. Toast bun.
  2. Plate sliced cucumber on bottom bun.
  3. Top with veggie patty.
  4. Plate pickled veg over veggie patty.
  5. Top with bun and serve.
