Lay ham on the shiny side of a sheet aluminum foil. Place 1/2 cup water inside foil. Wrap foil tightly around ham. Bake on a flat baking sheet in a 325°F oven for 15 to 20 minutes per pound or until an internal temperature of 140°F is reached. Since oven temperatures vary, check ham after 1 hour to avoid overcooking.
