Bake

Conventional Oven To Roast: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Season and truss. Place breast side up on rack in shallow roasting pan. Brush with melted butter. Roast uncovered 1 hour (1 hour 15 minutes if hen is over 1 lb. 2 ozs.). Baste frequently with butter. To brown, raise oven to 400 degrees F. during last 10 minutes.

Thaw

Thawing Instructions To Thaw: Leave in original wrapper, thaw in refrigerator or immerse in cool water 2 to 3 hours. Keep refrigerated if not cooked at once.
