North Africa/Mediterranean-inspired wing appetizer for sharing features a generous portion of crunchy all-white meat boneless wings tossed lightly in a fiery harissa-spice barbecue sauce served with olive oil-grilled flatbread and cumin ranch sauce for dipping

Ingredient Quantity Method

Homestyle Pepper Breaded Breast Meat Boneless Chicken Wings, Uncooked (#4234-928)

10 oz 
Reserve frozen boneless wings for assembly of appetizer.
Harissa Spice Barbecue Sauce  
Mild barbecue sauce commercially prepared 2 oz 
Honey 2-1/2 oz 
Harissa seasoning dried commercially prepared 1 tbsp 
Water 1 tbsp 
Combine barbecue sauce, honey, harissa seasoning and water in a small nonstick saucepan and whisk to blend. Simmer over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes. Hold hot above 140°F.
Cumin Ranch Sauce  
Ranch dressing commercially prepared 2 tbsps 
Sour cream 1 tbsp 
Heavy cream 1 tbsp 
Cumin seed toasted coarse ground 1/4 tsp 
Combine ranch dressing, sour cream, heavy cream and cumin in a small bowl and whisk to blend. Hold refrigerated at or below 40°F.
Mexican Original Suprema Flatbread 6 inch 7900 621 1 each 
Olive oil 1 tsp 
Harissa seasoning dried commercially prepared 1/2 tsp 
Brush 1 flatbread evenly with 1 teaspoon oil and 1/2 teaspoon harissa seasoning. Grill over medium-high heat for 1 minute on each side or until golden. Cut into wedges; reserve.

To assemble single serving: Deep fry 10 ounces boneless wings at 350°F for 6 to 8 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F for 15 seconds.

Combine 10 ounces wings and 5 ounces harissa spice barbecue sauce in a bowl and toss to evenly coat. Arrange glazed wings on a plate with grilled flatbread and 2 ounces cumin ranch sauce portioned into an individual ramekin.
Lemon wedge fresh gilled 1 each 
Cilantro sprig fresh 1 each 
Garnish plate with 1 each lemon wedge and cilantro sprig.
