Like their favorite meatball grinder only on a smaller scale, this sub features a couple of spicy meatballs, spicy marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella cheese on a small sub roll. Get on a roll with it, and use spicy pepperoni or other pizza toppings to torpedo customer cravings with this new menu weapon.

Ingredient Quantity Method

FC Oven Roasted Italian Style Pork, Beef Meatballs, 0.5 oz. (#72820-269)

Appliances vary, adjust accordingly. Open bag and place meatballs in single layer on baking tray. Conventional Oven 14 - 16 minutes at 350°F from frozen. 12 - 14 minutes at 350°F from thawed. Convection Oven 10 - 12 minutes at 350°F from frozen. 8 - 10 minutes at 350°F from thawed. Adjust accordingly to ensure internal temperature reaches 160°F.
Marinara sauce commercially prepared hot 1-1/2 cups 
Combine meatballs with Marinara sauce. Cover and hold heat above 140°F.
Mini hoagie rolls 3 inch split in half 12  
Garlic butter flavored oil commercially prepared 1 tbsp 
Mozzarella cheese shredded 3 oz 
To assemble single serving: Brush ¼ teaspoon garlic butter lightly over cut sides of 1 roll; toast until golden.

Place roll on flat work surface, toasted sides up. Arrange 3 meatballs in sauce on bottom half of roll, top with ¼ ounce shredded cheese and top half of roll.

Garnish with sliced pepperoncini peppers if desired.
