Hash-Brown Sausurrito

You can serve this hearty breakfast-style burrito all day long. It features sausage, crispy hash browns, and roasted peppers and onions in a flour tortilla with warm Monterey Jack cheese sauce.

Ingredient Quantity Method

Pure Pork Breakfast Sausage, 1 oz. Patty, Fully Cooked (#12719-616)

Place patties on sheet pan lined with baking paper. Heat in preheated conventional oven at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 140°F. Remove from oven. Keep warm above 140°F.

Mexican Original® Heat-pressed White Flour Tortillas, 8 inch, 17.5 oz. per dozen (#7705-621)

Hash brown patties frozen deep fried warm 12  
Flame roasted peppers and onions frozen flattop grilled warm 3 oz 
Monterey Jack cheese sauce commercially prepared warm 3/4 cup 
Picante sauce commercially prepared 6 tbsps 
To assemble single serving: Place 1 tortilla on flat work surface. Coarse-chop 1 hash-brown pattie and arrange in center of tortilla. Slice 1 sausage pattie in half and arrange over hash browns; top with ½ tablespoon peppers and onions, 1 tablespoon cheese sauce, and ½ tablespoon picante sauce. Fold closed.
